22/1/22 - TVOS Feature Vs Bradford

Hello everybody! Happy new year, we hope your 2022 is a good one for each and every one of you. Us girls are so excited to see what this year brings and hopefully see ‘The Dale Way’ Podcast grow bigger and better.

First of all, we want to thank you for your support and kind words in regards to our first ever feature in the match day programme. The amount of love and praise we have had is just phenomenal, it means so much to the both of us.

The last month or so has been super busy for us girls. The Dale Way Podcast has really taken off which is amazing and we was asked to feature on quite a few other channels and pods too, to help promote our message, spread the word but also help promote Rochdale AFC in the best way we can. Rochdale is a family orientated club which is an asset to the community and us girls want to help carry on the positive nature but hopefully inspire the younger generation and any female fans that aren’t sure about going to football games, feel comfortable and push them to go to a live game.

We have appeared on the following -

• What A Ballache Podcast - Talking about the club, Her Game Too and The Dale Way as well as featuring on their Christmas Quiz episode.

• Access All Areas - Talking about ‘The Dale Way’, ‘Her Game Too’, retro Dale shirts, what got us into football, Coventry/Dale connections and lots more.

• Sky Blue Fans TV - Talking about Danny Cashman, Jamie Allen, Fabio Tavares and other links.

• Football United TV - Talking about women’s politics in football with Lucy Ford from ‘Her Game Too’

As well as those mentioned we have also recently made an appearance on twitch channel ‘The Football League Lowdown’. A new entertaining, laid back and very funny football review show made up of four football fans; Scoops (Gillingham), Skibby (Fulham), Ecxoes (Tranmere) and Neil (Coventry). Every Monday night at 8:30pm the guys sit down and talk about the EFL fixtures from the previous weekend, cover the highlights and glance through the tables. The guys also play some fun football games and quizzes which can liven up anybody’s Monday night… Monday’s are definitely the worst day of the week, so tune in to their channel because it will certainly entertain and brighten your day!!

The pair of us are so overwhelmed with the support from all of you reading, the people that have backed what we are trying to do and really do hope we can help use our voices to carry on getting the club noticed in any positive way we can and hopefully help spread the word that Rochdale is a great club for people of all ages and genders to come and support. Both of us have been watching the Dale for many years now with our dads and want to inspire others to do that also.

With the help of you all, supporting us girls, the clubs partnership with the ‘Her Game Too’ campaign as well as the other great things the club already does. We can hopefully inspire more local people in the community to start coming to games, choosing to show their support to their local team and carry on setting the great example Rochdale AFC has done for many years now.
